WDG - 3.0 lb Spray Foam
WDG 3009-3 Spray Polyurethane Foam
Offering versatility through custom chemistry, WDG 3009-3 SPF is made with the highest quality ingredients including the latest, EPA approved blowing agents with zero ozone depletion potential. This foam has been part of WDG’s product line for 10 years, and still delivers excellent physical properties and superior yield.WDG 3009-3 Soy Spray Polyurethane Foam
Offering superior physical properties and outstanding fire performance, this revolutionary SPF product contains nearly 30% rapidly renewable agricultural-based content. The inherent advantages of foam roofs include the monolithic, fully adhered nature of the finished roof without seams or fasteners. While traditional roofing systems may perform well in non-critical areas, they tend to fail around penetrations, along seams and along the edges just a few years into their service life. Since foam roofs are spray-applied, they “fit” perfectly around all obstructions, usually resulting in drastically lower failure rates. Since SPF roofs are very light, they can most often be applied over existing roof surfaces without exceeding weight limits. The process also involves application of a protective coating. Properly installed and maintained, the life expectancy of a foam roof can be extended indefinitely by periodical re-coatings. All polyurethane roof foams distributed by CPi meet all safety standards, including Class A fire rating (ASTM E-108). Our foams have undergone rigorous testing of all relevant properties to ensure best possible performance throughout the entire temperature range found on roofs. Successful application requires qualified foam mechanics. CPi educates foam mechanics in its own Foam School and also has experienced applicators on staff who do field training at customers’ sites.

WDG 3009-3 Spray Polyurethane Foam
Product Description:
The 3009-3 polyurethane foam roof system is a two-component spray-applied system specifically designed for exterior application on flat or low-slope commercial roofs. This rigid roof foam system offers superior waterproofing while providing excellent insulation. The insulation benefits from a high R-value of approximately R-7 per inch. Obviously, applying the foam thicker than an inch will result in a proportional improvement in R-value. Just like in wall insulation, foam roofs stop all air leakage. The foam must be applied using proper proportioning equipment, which is available from CPi and includes applicator training. Building owners or managers should feel free to contact CPi at (330) 861-5200 to discuss their needs. CPi will refer a highly qualified contractor at no cost.WDG 3009-3 SOY Spray Polyurethane Foam
Product Description:
Unlike conventional foam systems, soy-based polyurethane foam roof systems offer more green benefits by incorporating substantial quantities of agricultural ingredients. Even though this is still an emerging technology, we are very confident that this technology will become mainstream in a short time. As far as performance of the finished roof is concerned, our soy-based system delivers the same benefits as the conventional, petroleum-based foam. Obviously, this system has undergone the same extensive series of tests. All results are available under the “technical” tab. Many of our customers ask us to help them choose between conventional and soy-based foams. Our experts agree that both systems perform well; however, at this point in time they feel that conventional systems have an advantage, as the applicators are familiar with them in terms of spray pattern, curing times and general handling. As far the environmental impact is concerned, our experts feel that it is negligible since foam roofs may last indefinitely. There is no notable difference between the carbon footprint of either technology since petroleum, the raw material, is converted to foam and not released into the environment as carbon dioxide.
